We are really excited about your pending visit to Hindhead Campus, Surrey. We know from delegate feedback, how influential #srocks18 was for many attendees last year. We also know how busy teachers are. If you are choosing to spend your Saturday with us, we believe we have a responsibility for making it as easy as possible for you to be with us.

To support that aim, we have drafted an email that you can copy, amend and share (or ignore) with your Professional Development lead. We shared that draft with a Headteacher forum, who were generally supportive. They also added a few excellent tips to improve your chances of success of getting your PD application supported:

  • tie attending #srocks19 to one of your professional development objectives or one of your schools priorities.
  • share your experience of attending, at a staff briefing, or via the school Teaching and Learning news
  • offer to lead a short PD session on what you gleaned,
